EmRose

I received my Bachelor’s of Science degree in Fashion Design from Philadelphia University in the Fall of 2013. Throughout my education I was able to refine my Technical Design skills while also having the opportunity to study Haute Couture in Rome Italy for a semester. My first real position upon graduating was working in a Costume studio with Eric Winterling, which gave me the liberty to work on shows like Kinky Boots, Frozen on Ice, Alladen Japan, The Lion King and my most favorite, the Rockettes.

I have freelanced for large global companies and also smaller more boutique-like labels. Men’s & Women’s Outerwear and Leather Accessories have been my primary focus. I love Tailoring and I use my Bernina sewing machine as much as possible. Much of my inspiration comes from natural elements and the patterns found in nature. I love the rap, rock & roll, and alternative music scenes, and am very influenced by authentic artists and musicians.

I have most recently been working as a 3D sketch artist for various companies using programs such as Browzwear and Clo. I am a huge advocate for Human Rights, Sustainability, and Climate Change and I believe that the fashion industry has the power to push these movements forward.
